The Healthy Yogini™ Kidney Yoga Flow Series!

Yoga is a beautiful ancient Indian practice and it is very beneficial for the health of our kidneys.

During 2009-2010, a study was conducted at the Department of Medicine in Meerut, India. Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) were followed for 6 months to see the effect of yoga on them. It was discovered that yoga was an effective adjuvant therapy to conventional treatment. It reduced blood pressure, improved renal function, decreased the need for dialysis, and improved the quality of life both physically and mentally.

The Healthy Yogini ™ kidney yoga sequences will stimulate, detoxify, and strengthen your kidneys, as well as boost circulation throughout your entire body.

Filmed along a beautiful scenic waterfront, each sequence begins with our signature Padma Mudra, the lotus seal, to inspire purity and perseverance. You will flow through several asanas that are accessible to all both physically and mindfully. Mediating in Surya Mudra to aid with fluid retention, and Hamsasya Mudra to find peace, you will walk off your mat feeling inspired, connected and empowered.

At a short 40 minutes or less, you can easily incorporate these into your daily routine.

Enjoy and Namaste!
