Welcome 2025! đ
A New Year filled with exciting possibilities!đ
Before you rush to start your New Yearâs goals, remember, itâs finally time to rest đ
It is winter here in the Northern Hemisphere and Iâve always looked forward to the month of JanuaryâŚand not because of the trendy âNew Year, New Youâ. đ
I look forward to hibernation, resting, and setting ourselves up for success from the inside out.
The Winter Solstice began last month permitting us to rest so we can thrive 3 months from now at the Spring Equinox when the astrological new year begins. đ
Those of us with kidney issues need to rest to support our adrenal glands. Adrenaline, the hormone made by our adrenal glands, gives us the energy rush to achieve our goals. Our adrenal glands also regulate our stress. We all know that stressful feeling when we donât get enough sleep or time to ourselves, right?!
That is a sign of our adrenal glands being unbalanced. This is why it is so important to rest our body so they can recharge.
I suffered severe adrenal fatigue in 2019. The first step to healing our adrenal glands is resting and that doesnât mean just sleep:
There are actually 7 Types of Rest: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social, Sensory, Creative, and Spiritual.
Here is a cheat sheet of one thing you can do for each type of rest. I hope it empowers you to support your kidney health đ

Do not attempt to do all of these in one day, youâll only exhaust yourself more.
Pick one each week to incorporate into your routine, and by the time Spring is here, youâll be fully rested and recharged đˇ
We are all under the belief that we donât deserve rest and when we do rest, we feel we are being disobedient.
So, if you get stuck remember this quote:

Wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year with many blessings!
Namaste and Lots of Love! đ¤đť
